The 2019 Honda Ridgeline gets equipped with a 3.5L 24-Valve V6 engine with Direct Fuel Injection and an Eco Assist™ System that produces 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The 3.5L V6 works with standard Two-Wheel Drive (2WD) to arm the 2019 Honda Ridgeline with a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds and with the available All-Wheel Drive (AWD) the 2019 Ridgeline can tow up to 5,000 pounds.

The 2019 Honda Ridgeline RT trim level can only be equipped with 2WD and it has a maximum payload of 1,465 pounds. The Sport, RTL, and RTL-T trim levels have the option for 2WD or AWD and in 2WD the 2019 Ridgeline Sport has a 1,465-pound payload rating, the RTL has a 1,452-pound payload rating, and the RTL-T has a 1,447-pound rating. When working in AWD the Ridgeline Sport achieves a 1,580-pound payload rating, the RTL can handle 1,569 pounds of payload, and the RTL-T has a 1,562-pound max payload rating. The RTL-E and the Black Edition of the 2019 Honda Ridgeline can only be equipped standard AWD and they both receive a 1,499-pound maximum payload rating.
