2020 Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid
The 2020 Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid is fueled by both gas and electricity, using its electric battery for all-electric driving and relying on its hybrid gas-powered engine when the battery charge runs low. The Clarity Plug-In Hybrid also charges its battery while its gas engine is in use. The all-electric driving range is 47 miles per charge1, but the combined gas and electric range is 340-miles1.
The 2020 Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid comes with the same technology that we’ve come to know and love on Honda models. It comes with standard Honda Sensing® technology, an 8.0-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. The Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid comes in two trim levels—Plug-In Hybrid and Touring.
2020 Honda Clarity Fuel Cell
In addition to the plug-in hybrid, Honda also has a model that is powered by hydrogen—the 2020 Honda Clarity Fuel Cell. The Clarity Fuel Cell is an aerodynamic sedan that produces zero carbon emissions. The Clarity Fuel Cell is powered by hydrogen, which is then converted to electricity and provides instant acceleration. This hydrogen-powered Honda has a driving range of 360 miles2, but is only available in California where the driver has access to a hydrogen fueling station.
